The Sunday art studio at Avenue X runs group classes through the morning, with private lessons before and after. On Thursdays at Brighton Beach, younger children work on arts and crafts while ages 7–9 take a group art class.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age can my child start art classes?
Art classes start at age 3, and we teach adults too. Younger children can join Baby Arts & Crafts (ages 4–6) on Thursdays at Brighton Beach.
When are art classes held?
Sundays at Avenue X (group classes from 10:00 am, plus private lessons from 9:00 am and 1:30 pm) and Thursdays at Brighton Beach (ages 7–9 at 6:30 pm). See the schedule.
Do you offer private art lessons?
Yes — private art lessons are available on Sunday mornings and afternoons at Avenue X, and by appointment.
How much do art classes cost?
Group classes are $35 for 60 minutes (once a week) and $50 for 90 minutes. Private lessons start at $40 for 30 minutes. See the pricelist.
Bring your young artist
Try a class at our Sunday studio or on a Thursday afternoon, and we will suggest the right group.
A $75 registration fee applies to all new enrollments
